

It all begins on a fall Friday afternoon. The weekend is chock-full of Taos sites for the soul. Registration includes meals and site entry fees for the Saturday and Sunday tours. If you’re unable to join us Friday, we look forward to seeing you first thing on Saturday morning at Hacienda de los Martinez.

TOUR DETAILS (subject to change)
Taos is about a 2hr, 30 min. drive from Albuquerque. Please plan your arrival accordingly and consider carpooling. Early registration is encouraged. This year’s tour is limited to only 45 people. Cost is $75 for members; $140 for non-members (student pricing available) and includes meals. Friday, Nov. 2
Tour begins at 3pm in Ranchos de Taos for a tour of the San Francisco de Asis mission church. From there, tour participants will head to the County Courthouse near the Taos Plaza to view the WPA murals. The evening concludes with a mixer at Taos Inn’s Adobe Bar.



This full day of activities will begin at 9am for a docent-led tour of Hacienda de los Martinez (2017 NMAF Award winner for importance historic sites). From there, the tour group will rendezvous at UNM Taos for a look at some the new buildings on campus. Lunch will be provided during this tour stop. Next, participants will have special access to the Couse-Sharp Historic Site and El Rincon Trading Post. The day’s grand finale will be hosted at the Taos Art Museum at the Fechin House and includes a special dinner event.
